Custom license plate images are only available on certain Tesla models and software versions that offer Paint Shop customization. Availability may differ by region and can change with software updates. Check your vehicle before preparing a USB drive.
Prepare your USB drive ⚠ Requires validation before public release
- Use a USB drive formatted as exFAT or FAT32.
- Create the folder name required by your vehicle's software (to be confirmed).
- Copy the downloaded PNG into that folder.
- Safely eject the drive from your computer.

Download your plate
Create and download your PNG on the generator page.

Insert the USB drive
Plug the prepared drive into a data-capable USB port in your vehicle.

Open Toybox → Paint Shop
On the touchscreen, open the Paint Shop customization feature.

Select license plate
Choose the license plate option and select your image from USB.

Confirm
Preview the result on the vehicle visualization and apply.
